Once there was a Dodo who feared nothing. He could then jump from any height and pick any fruit or seed he wanted. The rest of his friends found him so charming, but he was still sad he couldn’t fly. He wanted to have stronger and bigger wings so he could leave the island. One day a manta came by the beach saw the Dodo. The Dodo said: “I wish I had wings like you so I can fly away to the next piece of land.” The Manta said: “Well, if you bring me the wild thorny berry, I can give you a lift. But they are rare and dangerous to pick!” “What?! You really can give me lift?” the Dodo could’t believe his ears “You just wait here.” he said and rushed to the forest, came back with the most juicy, beautiful berries. The Manta’s jaws dropped. She took all of the berries and ate them. Then she said: “Hop on!”
